The meeting was held on the 15th June at 7.30pm at the Deaf Hawkes Bay clubrooms, Taradale.

National Competitions. Final arrangements for the National Competitions in Auckland in October were made. Amateur winemakers and brewers from around New Zealand, including members from this club will pit their skills against each other for the coveted trophies.

Visitors. We welcomed Four visitors to the meeting with the view of becoming members. Hopefully they will gain from the experience from within the club to improve their own skills.

Monthly Raffle. The hotly contested roasting dish raffle was won by Gordon.

Monthly Competitions. Hans achieved a bronze medal for his Viongnier in the Dry White Grape category.

Beer. John brought some nice samples for tasting.

The meeting concluded after a very interesting talk from Ralf Harrison of Beach House Wines.
