Ten members and two visitors attended the February meeting at our clubrooms on the 15th February.

We wish June a speedy recovery from her short stint in hospital.

A grower has offered several grape varieties to members at a reasonable price or for some wine in return and this will be taken up.

David has DAP available to  members at a very reasonable price.

Tom has again won the raffle which was a couple of nice savoury dishes.

After the formalities Brian gave a good demo on puting down a kit beer. Cleanliness of the equipment and brew tank was emphasised. He gave some ideas on how to pep up the brew with some additives over and above that supplied in the kit. Many other suggestions came from the members as he was doing the demo. Some of the variations covered types of  sugar, addition of hopsof all types and when to bottle with or without adding sugar to the bottle.
