This meeting was a little different in that it was hosted at Edna and Tom’s home. The reason was to view Evonne Lork’s new Thirsty Work wine show on the Food Channel. Our interest was in that she visited Norm’s home to record how a keen homebrewer and winemaker operates. As well she visited one of our club nights to film us and some got a second or two of fame on TV. We thought it a great advert for our organisation in general.

Final arrangements were made for our club’s annual judging competition and for the Regional competitions to be held in Stokes Valley, mid Oct.

Monthly judging took place as usual and Brian won Silver for his Bitter Pale Ale and David got Bronze. David also got Bronze for his Brown Ale.

Our annual baking competition took place and this years subject was Anzac Biscuits which was won by David. Thanks to Barbara our guest judge.

THe raffle was won by Hans, a very nice spice rack.
