A mini van abley driven by June’s grandson took 11 of us to be wined and dined at our neighbours, the Central Hawkes Bay Winemakers and Brewers Club. As usual there was a great choice of drinks for the pre dinner happy hour. During this time Clive, of their club, organised an improptu judging competition of wines and beers. The lucky winner was David from our club with one of his beers. For his skills he recieved what can only be described as a statue of a woman of dubious repute.

A great repast then took place and at its conclusion  our club president thanking our hosts for a great evening. Our driver then delivered us to our respective homes on the way home. Well done him!!.
