Sixteen members were present for the AGM which is held in April every year. After Brian presented his Chairman’s Report and David his Treasurer’s Report the election of officers took place. The positions for club executives were readily filled with a new committee member joining those who were standing again. Brian retains the Chair, June the secretarial duties and David is looking after the books. Bob and Pat will look after the monthly competitions as stewards while Maurice will produce the club’s newsletters. As the financial books are in good order our Treasurer suggested keeping the subs the same as last year which is $20. This was adopted by the meeting.

After the formalities Maurice presented the trophies for the most points accumulated over the past year in the beer and wine competitions. For the beer, Bob won the Novice Cup, Runner up was Brian and the Brewer of the Year was David. For the wine, Brian was Runner up and Joe was Winemaker of the Year.

The evening finished on a social note with members sharing drinks and food that they had bought along.
