Quite a good turnout for this meeting. Sometimes the winter months keep a few at home by the fire.

Once the organisational part of the meeting was put to bed we had a friendly Housie night. We had 4 draws with most running two cards each. Lines were won by Maurice, Brian, Tom N, and David and the more clever who won the house were Jason, Tom N, Arns, and Bob.

Members were reminded of the up coming Club competition for beer and wine to be held on the 3rd Aug at our meeting rooms starting 2.30pm. Entries have to be in by 21st July. After that there is to be a pot luck dinner.

The monthly points cup entries were judged and there were no medals awarded for the two classes being judged. In the wine where dry white grape was judged Hans won a rare gold. Congratulations Hans for a great Chardonnay.

Bob won the raffle which was a meat pack.
