Jason and his wife hosted a lovely social event on a beautiful Sunday in January. This is part of our reciprocal social event with our close friends from the Central Hawkes Bay Winemakers and Brewers Club. A car load from there attended and enjoyed a social hour or two prior to a BBQ taking place. As has become custom at these events a competition judging of all comers entries took place, the winner receiving “Deloris” a statuette of dubious repute. Once all voting papers were in The winner was found to be Robyn with her Amarillo liqueur. Deloris will be up for grabs later in the year in CHB. The raffle was won by Tom.
