The October Meeting saw Blair of The National Distillery Company speak at the meeting and share some highly flavoured Gins they had made, while informing us of the History of the business and his own background. A good evening was had by all.

The November Meeting saw a visit from Wellington’s Garage Project Brewery. with a nice selection of fine craft beers, including the “Proper Crisp IPA” (made with some potatoes included) intended to be consumed with the matching Potato Chips. A very nice Low Alcohol Beer and a super Stout with all the Trimmings.

Our November Outing saw members visit and tour The National Distillery Company fine premises in the old National Tobacco Company’s Art Deco building in Napier. A fascinating tour and a close look at the Still was followed by some new samples, with many members taking the opportunity to purchase Christmas Gin Gifts for friend and family. Thanks again to Blair for his hospitality and sharing his knowledge.
