To all Clubs and Federation members, we are pleased to offer this update on the upcoming Nationals; to be officially know as the Gladfield 23rd NZ National Amateur Wine & Beer Competiton & Conference on the 6^th, 7^th & 8^th of October 2023.

We have been working hard on planning and securing sponsors. As you can see above our principal sponsor for this event is Gladfield Malt. We thank them for their wonderful support, as well as the generous donations from our other sponsors listed here. Expect great prizes for Best of Show and Best of Class awards thanks to our sponsors. We are pleased to advise also that we have secured some supporting funding from the Eastern & Central Community Trust.

As a result of our efforts, we are able to keep the attendance price lower than anticipated so look forward to many registrations from across the Country. Registration for the Gladfield 23rd NZ Nationals & Conference will be $95 per person, or just $85 each if payment is received by 10th August 2023. We again have a sponsored Beer Class, thanks to Hauraki BCL. This year the kit is a Morgans Premium Golden Sheaf Wheat. As usual we will have Judging on Friday, the Formal Welcome on Friday evening with sponsors exhibiting their wares, A bus tour on Saturday and more time to mingle with the Sponsors. Then the Happy Hour, Formal Dinner and Prize Giving on Saturday evening. Sunday will see the NZ Federation of Amateur Winemakers and Brewers Clubs Biennial General Meeting and the traditional BBQ Lunch farewell.

We have limited onsite accommodation available for the Weekend (Friday & Saturday nights only), on a first come first served basis. 14 Twin-Share Rooms are available for $120 (2 people, 2 nights) or a bed in a 10 bed Shared Mezzanine Room for $30 per person per night.
